Blackpool – Hull Match Preview

In this match of the English Championship Blackpool will play at home against Hull. The home side was unlucky to lose in their last two matches played against Huddersfield and Middlesbrough. I will go with Draw no bet on the home side this time.

Against Huddersfield, Blackpool was up 2:1 at halftime but after Jordan Gabriel received his second yellow card they didn't avoid losing the match 3:2. Blackpool was the better team up to that turning point. In their last match played against Middlesbrough, they scored a late equalizer in 91st minute but they concede again in 92nd minute after a terrible mistake by their defense. They are currently in 13th position in the league with 30 points won. They are falling behind the top six teams and are now six points below Huddersfield who is in sixth place.

Hull is in better form at the moment. In their last ten games, Hull won 14 points while Blackpool won only six points in the same interval. But Hull is not playing well away from their MKM stadium. They lost seven out of 12 games played away from home. At the moment, Hull is in 19th position with 23 points. They are only four points above the relegation zone. If they do not improve in away matches they will soon be among the teams in the danger zone. They have problems with scoring but their defense is rock solid.

I decided to go with Blackpool in this match because they did not lose a single match to Hull in their last ten encounters. The last time Hull won against Blackpool was in 2004.
