Portimonense suffered an away 2-1 loss in Maritimo, after three consecutive wins. Although they performed better than their opponent, they missed many chances to open the scoreline. On the contrary, home team were more effective in their counterattacks and they managed to win. All these positive results in a row placed Portimonense on the first half of the table, now they are 8th placed, having 5 points less from 5th placed Moreirense. Attacking midfielder Nakajima won't perform tonight due to his injury.

Another home win for Braga, actually it was their 8th in 9 games. Their 1-0 win against Boavista kept them in second place of the table, just 6 points away from first-placed Porto and with one point more from 3rd placed Benfica. Goalkeeper Matheus as well as midfielders Xadas and Esgaio are not 100% fit yet and will not perform tonight.
