Brighton vs Manchester City Match Preview

Brighton will be playing against Manchester City in the second to last game of the season for both these sides. 

Brighton are in sixth position and they have collected 61 points. They can easily qualify for the UEFA Europa League now even if they lose here as their goal difference is so good compared to Aston Villa who are the only team who can overtake them mathematically. Brighton lost by four goals to one in their game against Newcastle less than seven days ago. 

Brighton will be without Lallana, Lamptey, Match, and Sanchez for this game as they are all injured.  

Manchester City are at the top of the table and are already crowned Champions. They beat Chelsea by a goal to nil in the last game and that game was a dead rubber as they already were Champions before that game. Manchester City are a team who still would want to win games even if they are already Champions as that is the mentality of Pep Guardiola.  

Manchester City have won all the last three games played. They will be without Ake and Mendy for this game. They might even rest other players but the replacement players are also too good. 

All the last three head-to-head meetings between these sides ended in Manchester City winning. I predict Manchester City to win by more than a goal in this one.
