Brighton vs West Ham Match Preview

Brighton hosts West Ham for the 36th round of Premiership at The American Express Community Stadium.

Brighton had a good match last week away with Wolves but could not avoid losing by 2-1. They started well scoring the first goal at the 13th minute but were left with 10 players on the pitch at 53' and conceded two goals losing the game. That was a no harm defeat for them, as the next day's Fulham defeat secured their stay at Premiership. They are now at 17th place with 37 points.

West Ham is coming from a midweek bad result, that most probably takes them off the top-4 spots. They hosted Everton, did not perform well offensively, and could not return the goal conceded at 24', losing by 1-0. They are now 6th-placed with 58 points, six points short of 4th Chelsea. Actually, they lost on more spot, as Liverpool won their own game vs United the following day. After this outcome, they need to win all of the remaining three matches to have chances for a European ticket. 

Brighton secured their stay and will play without stress looking for the best result, however, it's worthwhile to mention, that they have only 3 wins at home after 17 games played.
