Burnley vs Wolves Match Preview

Burnley is ranked at the 10th place with 50 points and comes in a very good momentum, as they are unbeaten in the last five matches with three wins and two draws. Now they are just five points behind the Europa League zone and a probable win here would take them closer to a historic quest.

Their recent 1-1 draw against league winners Liverpool showed once again how good they are playing and since they are at home I expect another decent performance by them. Even at home Burnley is unbeaten in the last five matches, with two wins and three draws and managed to score at least a goal in four occasions.

Wolves, on the other hand, is ranked at the 6th place with 55 points and comes after three wins and two loses over the last five matches. They currently sit in the last spot that gives a ticket for Europa League, but they will need to keep winning games in these three remaining rounds, as Sheffield Utd and Tottenham are right behind them to try and profit.

After losing to Arsenal and the same to Sheffield Utd Wolves gave a strong signal last week winning 3-0 at home against Everton. On the road their performances have been also quite good, havong won three of the last five games, while scoring 23 goals in 17 games.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score at least a goal here. Burnley has got nothing to lose in the remaining matches, so I expect them to go all in trying to secure three crucial points. Wolves knows they must not lose another game if they want to be in Europa League next season, so I guess we should see a fully motivated team.
