Burundi vs Morocco Match Preview

Burundi started the Africa Cup of Nations with an expected loss against Central Africa. They conceded a goal in each half and now they have won only three of the last 20 games played in all competitions. All three wins came against a team like South Sudan and this shows the bad condition Burundi are having. They lack quality and only Berahino is not enough to compete against much more solid teams. It should be even harder now to face a Moroccan team full of quality players and with more more experience than them. The qualification matter could end pretty soon for them.

Morocco, on the other hand, started the campaign with a surprising 0-0 draw at home against Mauritania. They totally dominated their rivals as they had more possession, created more chances and had seven shoots on goal, while Mauritania failed to get a single shoot on goal, but the goal for the hosts did not come. They got really unlucky in some situations where the opponents' keeper seemed beaten but yet they did not score. Anyway, this should not demoralize a team like them, as they have players like the captain Ziyech, Mazraoui, Taarabt or Hakimi who make the difference anytime.

In conclusion, I think Morocco can win this match and put some pressure on Central Africa for the first place. It will be the first h2h game between these teams, but Burundi are really a poor team for the moment and can not handle a superior rival and in form like Morocco.
