Chelsea vs Everton Match Preview

Chelsea last week left two valuable points in Bournemouth against the local team (2-2). They opened the scoreline at the 33rd minute of the game, but at the beginning of the second half, they lost the lead by conceding two goals in a few minutes ( 54-57). Chelsea managed to equalize at the dying minutes of the game avoiding the defeat.

After 28 rounds, Chelsea are in the 4th place of the standings with 45 points and hope for a spot in next season's Champions League. In their midweek game, they prevailed 2-0 over Liverpool for the FA Cup and took the qualification for the quarterfinals of the event.

Chelsea have the of advantage playing at home, but in the last match, they've shown a lot of instability, and defensively, they are struggling to keep a clean sheet. Everton, on the other hand, have improved a lot and they keep scoring with great consistency. It is expected to see a fast-paced game with a lot of goal scoring chances, so my call is over 2,5 goals to be scored.
