Chelsea vs FC Porto Match Preview

Chelsea faces FC Porto for the 2nd leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on neutral ground, at the home field of Sevilla, Spain.

The hosts may not play that well in the first leg, but still, they managed to get a clear lead of 2-0. Porto created a lot of goal-scoring chances but Chelsea's goalkeeper had a blast, keeping a clean sheet till the final whistle. Chelsea opened the scoreline at the 32nd minute of the game while they doubled their lead at the 85th minute, securing their victory.

In the previous round of the English Premier League, Chelsea crashed Crystal Palace, prevailing with an impressive 4-1. After 31 rounds played, Chelsea are currently ranked 5th in the table with 54 points, just 1 point behind the fourth-placed West Ham.

Porto, on the other hand, fought till the end to get a positive result but failed to find the back of the net, and their defensive gaps led them to concede twice. 

In the domestic league, Porto won 2-0 over Tondela, reducing their distance to 6 points from the league leaders, Sporting. Porto remains unbeaten in the last 20 games in the Primeira and after 26 rounds played they are sitting at the 2nd spot of the standings with a total of 60 points.
