Lille vs Chelsea Match Preview

Lille will be playing against Chelsea in the Champions League second round of the group stage.

Lille lost their first match and they do not look in a great shape right now. This season, they have lost against Ajax in their first match of the group with the result 3:0. They should try to not lose this one in order to gain a point or more and to keep trying to qualify in the knock out stage of the tournament.

Chelsea, on the other hand lost to Valencia with the result 1:0. They had not started the new season that well, but in the recent weeks they have started playing a lot better and as a result they are gaining quite good results in their matches.

I am favouring the visitors from London to win this match, as they are a better side right now and they should fight to pass the groups. Lille have lost some of their best players, so I do not think that they are going to do much in this match against a top side such as Chelsea are.

Final result out of this match could be something like 0:2 for Chelsea. The away win is my call!
