Chelsea vs Lille Match Preview

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea will be playing against Lille for the knock-out stage of the UEFA Champions League. 

Chelsea had finished in the second position in the group, stage behind Juventus. Chelsea are in good form as they have lost just once out of the last 18 games played. They won their last Premier League game played against Crystal Palace scoring the winner in the injury time. 

Chelsea's big signing Romelu Lukaku terribly failed in the game against Palace recording just seven touches and Tuchel could look to replace him with German striker Timo Werner. Chelsea would be without Chilwell and Hudson Odoi as both are injured. Azpilicueta and James are doubtful.

Lille have not been good this season as they are a mid-table team in Ligue 1. Their form also is not good as they have won just once out of the last four games played.

Lille would be probably without their best midfielder Renato Sanches who is injured and this would really affect them. Lihadji is also doubtful but other than that, they do not have any other injury issue.

Both last two head-to-head meetings between these sides ended in Chelsea winning and they won both games by two goals to one. Chelsea led by two goals at halftime in the last encounter between these sides. I predict Chelsea to lead at halftime here.
