Chicago Fire vs Vancouver Whitecaps Match Preview

This is the last round of the second MLS group plauef at the Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, where Chicago face Vancouver.

Chicago won 2-1 over Seattle in the first round, while in their following game against San Jose they struggled a lot. In the first half, they managed to keep a clean sheet, but in the second half, they couldn't hold their opponents at all, suffering a 2-0 defeat.

Tonight they will seek victory to qualify as the second team of this group. However, yhey can still qualify, even with a 0-1 defeat, but they will face a more difficult opponent in the next stageof the competition. Without any significant problems so far, the Swiss manager Raphael Wicky will line up his best eleven. 

On the other hand, Vancouver did not manage to get a positive result so far, losing 3-4 to San Jose in the first round, as well as to Seattle, suffering a 3-0 defeat in the second round.

Now things are difficult for them and need to win today with at least with a two-goal difference over Chicago, to be able to finish in the third place of the group and qualify. Unavailable are both the goalkeepers of Vancouver, Maxime Crépeau due to injury, and Bryan Meredith for personal reasons. 

Both teams have hopes to qualify in the next round of the competition, and of course both need to score to achieve their target. Over 2,5 goals to be scored is my call, offered at 1,67 odds.
