Club Brugge KV vs Gent Match Preview

Club Brugge and Gent are playing for the Belgian Super Cup trophy and my prediction is that Club Brugge is not going to lose in the regular time of this match.

Club Brugge are the last season's champions of Belgium, actually, they have three titles in a row and five out of the last seven. Club Brugge is a solid team with good structure and they are constantly playing in European competitions with solid results. They played multiple preparation games and lost only to FC Copenhagen. 

Gent, on the other side, in the last season won the cup but in the league, they did not play so well. This season they will look to improve and this game is a great opportunity to start well the new season. They also had some preparation games but they had two losses in six games. Last season they played well against Club Brugge and it will be interesting to see how this game will end.

Club Brugge is a better team overall and I believe they will be really motivated to win because they lost 0-3 in their last cup game to Gent, a 3 result which was one of the worst losses in the last season for them. Club Brugge played solid in preparation games and I believe they can continue with their good form.
