Colombia vs Uruguay Match Preview

Colombia will host Uruguay for the 3rd round of the South American World Cup 2022 Qualifiers at the Metropolitano Roberto Meléndez, Barranquilla, behind closed doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

After a great start with a 3-0 win over Venezuela, Colombia drew 2-2 against Chile in Santiago. The equalizer came at the added time of the game scored by Radamel Falcao, who unfortunately will miss tonight's game due to injury.

The team of Oscar Tabarez must forget this defeat to get something positive here against Columbia.

Sebastian Coates, Muslera, and Federico Valverde who are injured are not available tonight. The good news for the visitors is the return of Edinson Cavani.

Both teams will seek the three valuable points here that will bring them closer to the final stage of the World Cup 2022. I expect a really close game here with a lot of goal-scoring chances as both sides have a lot of quality and experience.
