Crystal Palace – Leicester Match Preview

Crystal Palace will host Leicester at Selhurst Park Stadium in this English Premier League football game.

Crystal Palace is playing quite average this season as they usually do in the last few years. Last season, under Viera, they played better. This season they are in 12th place with 27 points which is still possibly dangerous as they can still get relegated because the 18th team has 24 points. They decided to sack Viera and bring back Hodgson who was their coach right before Viera.

Leicester, on the other side, is also one of the disappointing teams in the Premier League this season. After West Ham, they are probably the biggest disappointment. They have some excellent players like Maddison, Barnes, Daka, and Castagne but they are not doing that good. Their biggest weakness is defense as they are allowing a lot of goals.

Crystal  Palace will have motivation as a new coach is here. Hodgson is experienced and he will not risk too much here as he will probably be satisfied even with a point. Usually, his teams are focused on defense and I don't think how Palace can score more than Leicester, as the hosts have scored only 22 goals so far which is the fewest in the league.
