Crystal Palace vs Everton Match Preview

Crystal Palace face Everton for the 3rd round of the English Premier League.

Crystal Palace left Old Trafford with a huge victory as they prevailed 3-1 over Manchester United, repeating last season's triumph. They had an excellent performance and got deservedly all three points. They had also won in the first round of the new season, making history for the club as it was their ever first time that started with two wins in the first two rounds of the Premier League!

Crystal Palace opened the scoreline before the first quarter of the game, and at the 74th minute, they managed to double their lead. Despite the fact that the hosts scored at the 80th minute, they kept their balance in the field, and a few minutes later they secured their victory scoring their third goal.

Everton has a great start in the league as well. In the previous round, they prevailed 5-2 over West Brom playing at home. Despite the fact that they were back in the scoreline early in the game, they managed to make the overturn taking the lead 2-1 before the halftime. In the second half, they continued at the same pace and managed to score another 3 goals with ease, taking deservedly all the points.

In their midweek game, Everton took another 5-2 victory, this time for the League Cup at Fleetwood's home (League 1 team), qualifying with this victory for the next round of the tournament.

Both teams started well with positive results in the league, Everton's great run was more or less expected considering their new signings, but I cannot say the same for Crystal Palace.
