Czech Republic vs Belgium Match Preview

The Czech Republic comes up against Belgium for the 2nd round of the 5th group in the World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

The hosts prevailed in the previous round, as expected, 6-2 over Estonia. Despite the fact that they found themselves back in the scoreline early in the game, just at the 12th minute, they managed to score 6 goals in total and easily got all three points. Their goal is to finish at the top two spots of the group.

Belgium, on the other hand, prevailed 3-1 over Wales. They had a similar start in this game, as Wales was the side that opened the scoreline at the 11th minute, but Belgium comfortably overturned the game in a few minutes, scoring two goals at the 22nd and at the 28th minute.

They remain one of the top teams in Europe and deservedly are the favorites in their group to qualify directly in the World Cup. Czech started well in these qualifiers, but here they will not have an easy task against such a strong opponent.

I think today's match will be very interesting and probably we'll see many goals. Over 2.5 goals to be scored is my call, offered at decent 1.80 odds.
