Dangerous mission

West Ham were quite average in the previous season finishing in the 10th place of the Premier League, however, this was their best appearance in the last three years. This season they are ready to fight for a better outcome, even a Europa League spot, after the decent efforts of their management in the recent transfer window. Manuel Pellegrini, who is their coach for another season, surely has more options in his squad.

Manchester City won their second consecutive title, for the first time in their history. It was a ferce fight untill the end, finishing the league with an incredible 14-win streak. In addition, City won the FA Cup humiliating Rotheram, as well as the Carabao Cup vs Chelsea. The only complain from their fans is that they failed for another season in the Champions League, they were beaten from Tottenham in the quarter-finals. Their target for the new season is to prevail again in all domestic competitions, and of course to reach the Champions League final. A win today in their opening game for the Premier League 2019-20 is definitely out of the question

Manchester City is a more quality side from West Ham, but the "Hammers" are always dangerous when playing in front of their fans. A typical uptempo Premier League match is expected here, BTTS is my call.
