Defense is their weapon

Germany's friendly games till the start of the World Cup showed the same thing as in Loew's team opening game. Average performances with a clear problem at aggressive development, but all of us were expected to see 'cynic' Germany that we were used to at final stage. However in the first half against Mexico their defense was exposed to their opponents' counter attacks and due to their blunder the score remained 0-1 only. At the second half they created some chances and final score was more than fair.

Neither Sweden's performance was something more than what was expected. With both average attackers and development they needed a penalty from Granqvit to win in the easiest game of the group. The match against South Korea should have had 2 or 3 goals and sure if Ibrahimovic was playing we would have seen a different result., at least at Sweden's attack. Central defender V.Lindelof and midfielder Seb Larsson are available but I don't know if J.Andersson wants to change his starting eleven. 

I am pretty sure that Loew will make some correctional moves though I estimate that this is not any player's issue.  This Germany seem uncapable to perform well as a team, what we always knew about them. Sweden will be pleased with one point to play for their qualification against Mexico, hoping to find them indifferent. I am expecting to see the game on the one side but Sweden know how to defend themselves. This is how they got the qualification for the World Cup final stage, as they managed to keep the game with Italy to 0 for 180'. I am not expecting any goal from Swedish. I am not sure for Germans though.
