Dinamo Minsk vs Zhodino Match Preview

Dinamo Minsk has to change things around as they are ranked at the 13th place and come after losing two out of two games played so far. In general, they have not played that bad, but they lacked a little bit of luck. In the opener against Rukh Brest they played quite good and could have earned at least a draw, while in the derby against FC Minsk they got a red card which complicated their game.

Anyway, here at home they will try to grab their first win and start climbing ranks. Last year Dinamo Minsk finished at the 4th place and despite not securing a spot in Europe they had one of the best teams. History is on their side here too as they managed to get three wins a draw and a loss in the last five home games against Zhodino.

On the other hand, Zhodino is ranked at the third place with six points as they come after two wins in two games played. It has been quite a good start for them as they have scored two goals and are yet to concede a goal. They did well to win against Shakhtyor Soligorsk, while the game against Belshina it was not a very hard one for them.

In the previous season, Zhodino finished at the 6th spot with five points less than their rivals of Dinamo Minsk and on the road, they managed to win just six out of 15 matches in total. Before the start of the season, they lost both games against Shakhtyor in the Cup and lost six out of nine friendlies while winning just two. Also they failed to keep a clean sheet in eight out of these nine games.

In conclusion, I think Dinamo Minsk can win this match or get at least a draw which is why I am going with the safest option of home win Draw No Bet. They are the better team here and despite their bad start, I expect them to start winning soon. In the previous seasons, they have always been better than Zhodino which have always been an average team.
