Dortmund vs Manchester City Match Preview

Dortmund comes from a big win in the previous round of Bundesliga against Stuttgart, remaining in the top-five spots, in their fight for a Champions League ticket. Their performance was quite average, as we've seen from them many times this season, actually, they have been for one more weak back in the defense.

However, in the Champions League match against Manchester City, they played better but failed once again to taste victory, paying for their defensive gaps. Zagadou, Witsel, and Moukoko are unavailable tonight.

In the previous Premier League game, Manchester City's unbeaten streak came to an end. Actually, they were unbeaten since the game against Manchester United over a month ago. Last Saturday, they faced Leeds United in a match where the league leaders failed to redeem their superiority. Leeds opened the scoreline at the 42nd minute of the game and right after Bielsa's team remained with a man less in the pitch as Cooper got red-carded. In the second half, Manchester City managed to equalize at the 76th minute, but luck was not on their side and a very late goal came for Leeds, at the 91st minute. 

In the first leg against Dortmund, they were leading 1-0 but Haaland and Reus were on fire and equalized for their team to 1-1. In the dying minutes of the game, Manchester City scored the winner, securing a minimum lead for today's rematch.

Dortmund struggles a lot lately back in the defense and this usually leads to negative results. I think that Man City will try to get an early goal here to secure their qualification since they only are one goal ahead on the aggregate scoreline. Manchester City to win is my call for this one.
