Dortmund vs Manchester City Match Preview

Dortmund faces Manchester City for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals at the Etihad Stadium.

The hosts played well in the first leg, but failed to equalize, ending up losing 2-1 over Manchester City. In the previous Bundesliga round, they won 2-3 against Stuttgart, but the point distance remains pretty much the same, sitting 4th in the standings, and seem very difficult for them to claim another Champions League ticket next season.

Today they have to give their best against the favorites of this year's Champions League, and as we've seen in the first leg, they seem very capable of reaching victory this time.

Leeds put an end to Man City's unbeaten streak in the previous Premier League round, winning 1-2 over the visitors that played with a player less since the first half. However, in the match against Leeds, City played under heavy rotation and created 29 goal-scoring chances in total with the 7 of them being on target, but still failed to get a positive result.

Considering the aggregate scoreline, Dortmund have equal chances for qualification but Manchester City's quality of roster makes them the favorites of this match. Dortmund plays without motivation in the Bundesliga and the Champions League are their main goal to reach as far as possible for this season. 

Both sides have great offensive lines and create many goal-scoring chances. In the first leg, they registered a total of 18 chances and 8 shots, so I'll pick Over 2,5 goals to be score, offered at low odds, but I think it is very likely for this one.
