Dreams and ambitions

Fernando Batista's team traveled to Poland having great ambitions. Back in 2007 they had won the trophy for the last time, but based on this year's quality they can get back on the top. 'Albiceleste' finished in the 2nd place of their qualification group and won a place in the final stage of the tournament. They are one of the most quality teams of the competition, with players who became starters in their teams before celebrating their 20th birthday, like Ezequiel Barco (Atalanta United, he was transferred to Independiente for 15ml), Agustín Almendra (Boca Juniors), Tomás Chancalay (Colon Santa Fe), Gonzalo Maroni (Talleres de Cordoba), Julián Álvarez (River Plate) and Santiago Sosa (River Plate). 

South Africa finished in the 3rd place of Copa Africa three months ago, so they are now participating in the final stage of the U20 World Cup tournament. The 37yo Thabo Senong is their coach since 2017. This is his second consecutive year in the final stage, enjoying being part of this success. They are undoubtedly very fast team with potential. Their talented players are always ready to impress, among them is 18 years old Lyle Foster (Monaco), 19 years old Thakgalo Leshabela (Leicester) and 20 years old Leo Thethani (Dortmund).

Argentina are one of the most quality teams in this tournament. As long as they find their steps together the future will be bright. South Africa have potential and enthusiasm, but that's not enough to make the next step. 'Albiceleste' to win with two or more goals difference is my call.
