Dyn. Kiev vs Juventus Match Preview

Dyn. Kiev starts this Champions League campaign with the clear goal of grabbing the third post considering the group they are in. Their real rivals will be Ferencvaros. In their domestic league they are ranked at the first spot with four wins and two draws in six games. Obviously under Lucescu they have improved a lot, but still having to face a team like Juventus will be a tough challenge.

These two teams have history in the UCL and faced each other four times with Juventus winning three and one ending in a draw. They have a team with mostly young and talented players but this means they lack experience in the big scene of Champions League as it has been three years since they last qualified in the group stage.

Juventus has not made the best start for the new season, but they still remain unbeaten with two wins and two draws in the first four games. On both draws they were unlucky to get a red card which complicated the game for them. Against Crotone the Argentinian star Paolo Dybala was expected to play in the second half but the red card made it difficult for him. Anyway he is expected to make his debut in this game and I wouldn't be surprised to see him from the start alongside Kulusevski and Morata.

The big absence for the Italians is Cristiano Ronaldo, who is still recovering from COVID-19. In the midfield is expected to play Bentancur and Arthur and on the flanks Chiesa and Cuadrado who are both very good on counter attacks in the open field as they can make use of their pace.

In conclusion, I think Juventus can win this match. They are the better side with lots of experience in Europe and despite the absence of a player like Ronaldo, they are still a team full of quality players. Dyn. Kiev will of course try to have their say since they are at home, but at the end they just lack what is needed for this encounter.
