Eibar vs Atletico Madrid Match Preview

A really bad journey so far for the hosts, as their appearances are disappointing since the beginning of the season. Having just 5 wins in the La Liga, Eibar are currently sitting at the 16th place of the table, after 19 rounds played. Jose Mendilibar's main goal is to keep his team at the top league of Spanishffootball. In the previous round, they lost 1-0 to Valencia at Mestalla Stadium. A very difficult and stressful win followed over Cacereno, for the Copa del Rey competition. 

Bittersweet would someone describe Atletico Madrid's adventure in the Spanish Super Cup, where they played for the final four of the competition. They managed to qualify in the final game after a great victory over Barcelona, but they were unable to overcome Real Madrid and lost in a penalties shootout by 4-1. However, they've shown that they are in excellent shape. As for La Liga, they are 3rd-placed in the standings alongsidewith Sevilla, having a 5-point difference from the top duo Real Madrid and Barcelona. This allows them to have realistic chances for the title.

Atletico Madrid is called to overcome the fatigue from the Super Cup games they played in Saudi Arabia, in order to stay on their great run for the title. In their last 15 games against Eibar, they have registered 12 wins and just 3 draws, either playing at home or away matches. I think Atletico Madrid can win this one, the away win is my call.
