El Salvador - Peru Match Preview

El Salvador and Peru meet in this friendly match. The match is played at DC United's stadium in the United States. They have played three times so far and it is interesting that El Salvador had more success beating Peru twice, the last time in 2019, also in America in a friendly match.

El Salvador is undefeated in the last four matches. In the last match played against the USA, they drew 1:1. That was a quite a good result for a team with a mediocre players. Most of their players play in the USA and the rest play in the domestic league of El Salvador. 

Peru is the stronger team on paper, but they haven't been playing very well lately. They have two defeats in a row. They were defeated on penalties by Australia in the playoff game for the World Cup 2022 qualification. However, I think they will take the victory here.

Peru wants this win to forget that tough loss in the World Cup Playoffs. They have new coach who will try to turn things around. This is his second game at the helm, in the first one they lost to Mexico. Still, they have a much more experienced group of players and I believe they will win in this one.
