Everton vs Chelsea Match Preview

The Toffees were crashed against Liverpool 5-2 in Wednesday's Merseyside derby. This season's poor performance of Everton led to a dismissal of the Portuguese manager Marco Silva, with the team searching for his replacement. This was the 8th defeat for Everton in the last 11 games, which puts them at the 18th place, into the relegation zone, having just 14 points.

Chelsea won in midweek's game over Aston Villa 2-1, a result which ended their run of two games without a win. They took the lead at the 24th minute of the game. Aston Villa found the equalizer at the 41st minute, however, Chelsea scored the winner at the start of the second half and played defensively keeping their lead until the end of the match. With these three points, they reached the 4th place of the Premier League table, having 29 points.

Everton's disappointing results so far and currently being without with a manager on their bench, will surely affect the side negatively on this one. Chelsea, on the other hand, put an end to their losing streak, regaining strength for tonight's game. It seems worth betting on the best team here, so my choice is Chelsea to win.
