Everton vs Crystal Palace Match Preview

Everton faces Crystal Palace for the 30th round of the English Premier League at Goodison Park.

In the previous round, Everton faced Burnley, suffering a 2-1 home defeat. Burnley deservedly got all three points, considering the ποορ performance of the home team. They conceded twice until the 25th minute, replying with a goal at the 35th minute, however, they never found the equalizer until the end of the match.

This negative result slighted more their hopes of winning a European ticket, actually, they are 8th-placed with a total of 46 points after this weekend's results. They also failed to qualify in the next round of the FA Cup, suffering a 2-0 defeat against strong Manchester City.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, comes from a 1-0 win over West Brom before the national break. They played much better and opened the scoreline with a penalty kick at the 37th minute which was also the decisive goal of the game, as they managed to keep their lead. With these three points, Crystal Palace reached a total of 37 points and they are ranked 12th in the standings, keeping a safe distance from the relegation zone.

Everton will seek victory here in their fight for a European ticket, while Crystal Palace also needs points as well. Even if the hosts are the favorites of this match I will not trust them in their home ground at such low odds.
