Everton vs Wolves Match Preview

Everton is going to host Wolves in the first match after a World Cup break for these two teams in the English Premier League.

Everton had troubles at the start of the season but they then started playing better and now they are in 17th place with 14 points. They are just out of the relegation zone so they will definitely need to play better in the next games. They have a nice schedule now and maybe that is a good opportunity to start winning games. Their fans will be a big advantage for them here.

Wolves is probably the biggest disappointment in this season's Premier League right now. They are last-placed with only 10 points. They are playing really badly and that resulted in the sacking of Bruno Lage. Their new coach is Lopetegui who is a coach with a big resume having managed teams like Sevilla, and Real Madrid. He has won the UEFA Europa League trophy and we will see if can he bring Wolves out of the relegation zone.

This is a really important match for both sides as both want to have a strong start to the second part of the season. These two teams have a lot of problems in attack. Actually, Wolves and Everton are the two teams that are scoring the fewest amount of goals in the league. Wolves has scored only 8 in 15 games while Everton has 11 in 15 games so I expect this game to be a really low-scoring affair.
