FC Koln - Wolfsburg Match Preview

FC Koln is playing better recently, especially at home. Currently, they are in 12th place but they have only one loss in the last 5 league matches with some impressive results, like the win against Eintracht and the draws against Leipzig and Bayern.  At home they have 5 wins, 3 draws, and 2 losses and the majority of their points came at their RheinEnergieStadion.

Wolfsburg had a poor start to the season. They picked up their form after a few games and continued to perform well throughout the first half of the season, before the World Cup, occupying a spot in the top eight of the league table. After the World Cup their form dipped and currently, they are struggling but this game could be a good opportunity for them to get back to winning ways. They are currently in 7th place but they are without a win in the last four league matches. 

Niko Kovac is doing an excellent job in Wolfsburg. They are not in good form recently but they had tough opponents like Bayern and Leipzig. This match will be easier and although FC Koln is playing well at home, Wolfsburg can get points in this match, especially if they score the first goal. The first 20 minutes of the match will be crucial.
