FC Tokyo vs Urawa Match Preview

FC Tokyo will try to get back on the first place when they host Urawa. They could not get more than a draw in the last match against Shonan which made them lose the first spot to Yokohama. But their rivals play a difficult match, so their hopes for the title are still alive. They have a solid defensive side with only 25 goals conceded in 32 games and at home they are the team with the best performance winning 12 out of 16 games. After failing to win the last two home games, they can not allow anymore false steps considering the title is at stake.

Urawa, on the other hand, are ranked at the 13th place with 36 points. They come in a poor run coming after a single win a draw and three loses over the last five matches. What is worse, is the fact they are winless in the last five matches on the road. This happened because they fully focused on the AFC Champions League as they reached the final but failed to win. This will be a big blow in their morale considering they have nothing left to play for in the last two matches.

In conclusion, I think FC Tokyo can win this match. They must not flop once again, especially in front of their fans, because there are only two games left. Urawa will come to this game in a poor run and with no motivation to perform well.
