Flamengo RJ are ready to climb to the top

Flamengo have a great start this season. In their most recent game, they won 1-0 in Atletico Mineiro's home and remained in the top, but yesterday Sao Paolo overtook them as they won 3-2 vs Botafogo. However, this outcome is subject to change after tonight's game, if Mauricio Barbieri's team gets all three points against mediocre Bahia. Veteran Peruvian attacker Guerrero is out, just like central defenders Juan and Rever. Central defender Rhodolfo returns and takes a place in the first eleven. 

Bahia finally won after 4 unsuccessful results, their win 3-0 against Vasco da Gama took them away from relegation zone. In the mid time they also beat 4-0 Blooming from Bolivia and qualified to Copa Sudamericana’s second round. All their wins in this year were in front of their fans in 'Arena Fonte Nova', while they were defeated in all three away games they played for Serie A, without even scoring once. First choice goalkeeper Friedrich won't play in tonight's game, as well as top scorer Edigar Junior and winger Leo.
