France vs Turkey Match Preview

France finally has the chance to revenge that loss from Turkey and regain the first spot in the group. They are ranked at the second place for the moment with 18 points, but they lost the previous h2h vs Turkey. Being the current World Champions surely does not fit to finish after Turkey in the groups, so France needs to send a signal. They have the best attack in this group with 20 goals in seven games, averaging almost three goals per game. The only time they failed to score was in the game against Turkey, but things are going to be different now. France comes after four consecutive wins where they scored 12 goals and conceded just one. Even that was a penalty kick from Albania. The team is playing quite solid now and at Stade de France they cant disappoint.

Turkey, on the other side, is ranked at the first place with 18 points too, but thanks to the direct encounter still hold on. They were very lucky in the last game against Albania where they scored in the final minute by a mistake from the Albanian goalkeeper. They showed quite a poor football and this was not the only time they risked big time, as also against Andorra they barely won 1-0. Of course they beat France 2-0 at home, but they were lucky enough to find their rivals in one of their worst days. Turkey hasn't really convinced in the past games and if they are to repeat the performances against Albania and Andorra they are going to lose the match and the first place of the group. 

In conclusion, I think France should be able to win this match and get back to the first place where they belong. The difference in quality is too big, especially if we compare France's offensive with Turkey's defense. I just do not see it possible to hold the pressure of the hosts for 90 mins.
