French have the upper hand

At the beginning of the World Cup France weren't counted as a serious conquerer for the title by many people but they proved that they have a huge potential and they are now the 2nd favorite to get the trophy after Brazil, with who logically will play against at semifinals. Didier Deschamps' team have proved that they can reach the trophy conquest so far. They may not impressed at the group stage but they easily got the first place and then it was much easier (than the final result says) for them to eliminate by 4-3 Messi's Argentina. The most impressive thing in that match was that everyone both at the bench and at the field stayed calm when they conceded the second goal from Argentina and that showed how much they trust themselves. They needed just 15' to bounce back, proving that they have a huge potential but they use their talents only when is essential. At the game against Uruguay, Matuidi will be absent due to cards, but French have so many quality players that this absence won't make any harm. 

Uruguay are doing great at the World Cup as they count 4 wins in equal number of games. They didn't face any problems in their easy group, while they easily won Portugal when Cavani scored twice, but then he was injured and he probably won't play in the quarter final game. If that happens Uruguay will have a huge absence.

Uruguay are a physical team of high quality but I think that athletic and fast France won't have any problem to win and pass in the semifinals.
