Fulham - Liverpool Match Preview

The summer break for clubs from the Premier League is over and the first round of the new season is on schedule for this weekend. In this match, Fulham will play against Liverpool and I predict a routine win for the away team.

Fulham is newly promoted as the winner of the Championship from last season They will have a tough task in this match against Liverpool. Fulham held Villareal to a draw in their last friendly match, however, Benfica had scored five goals against them in an earlier preparation match. The team from London will need to fight bravely to avoid relegation this season. Mitrovic scored 43 goals in the Championship, but the Premier League is on another level.

Liverpool had suffered some big defeats in the preseason, like the match against United, but they had also won some. Klopp rotated his team a lot in those matches. Now in the first round, I expect the strongest possible team from the Reds. They were really impressive against Man City in the FA Community Shield last week.

Liverpool should be able to win this match without major problems. They will miss Jota, but Salah and Firmino will exploit Fulham's defense, which is one of the weakest in the league.
