Fulham vs Birmingham Match Preview

Fulham faces Birmingham for the 41st round of the English Championship at Craven Cottage.

After two defeats since the resumption of the Championship, Fulham τοοκ a 2-1 away win last Tuesday at Loftus Road against QPR. Now Scott Parker's team is at the 5th spot of the standings, 7 points away from the 2nd West Brom, and so their hopes for straight promotion are few. However, they are pretty close to a promotion playoff spot.

On the other hand, Birmingham remains winless for 8 games in the Championship. In those three games since the resumption, they played two draws and one defeat, this Wednesday against Huddersfield (0-3). Although they are now at the 17th place in the standings, they are possibly out of danger for relegation. They are currently having a 6-point distance from the relegation zone, and despite the not so big point distance, they will also have to be overtaken by 5 teams in order to get in trouble.

I give to the hosts a clear advantage here. The Londoners will need some more points to secure their place at the top-six and tonight they have a great chance to take the three points against a weak team. Fulham to win is offered at 1.81 and this is my tip here.
