Fulham vs Nottingham Match Preview

Fulham is ranked at 1st place in English Championship with 87 points and comes after two wins a draw and two losses over the last five matches. They have already secured their promotion spot and were even declared Champions so in the remaining three games I guess the motivation will not be the same for them.

They have shown an amazing offensive side with 99 goals scored so far and will probably score more than 100 goals in this campaign. In the last five matches despite not getting the best results they scored a total of seven goals averaging more than a goal per game. Mitrovic has been leading their attack and is the top scorer in the league with 41 goals - 7 assists so far and that is an amazing accomplishment for him. Even at home, despite Fulham having lost two of the last five matches, they managed to score at least a goal in each of them totaling nine goals.

Nottingham, on the other hand, is ranked at the 4th place with 73 points but has two games in hand. They come after four wins and a single loss over the last five matches which allowed them to consolidate their position in the play-off zone and now if they managed to win all the remaining games they could also aim for direct promotion.

With 66 goals scored they have shown a very good offensive side being the second-best in the league only after the superior Fulham. In the last five matches, they scored a total of nine goals averaging almost two goals per game while managing to find the back of the net at least once in four encounters. For them the most prolific players have been Johnson with 15 goals - 10 assists and Grabban 12 goals - 4 assists and both of them are expected to play from the start here in this final rush of the season.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score at least a goal here. Fulham might not need to win but playing at home I expect them to try and entertain their fans in the final games so scoring a goal is more than possible. Nottingham has to try until the end and fight for the 2nd place starting from tonight and despite being on the road I fancy them scoring once against a rival that might not play with their best eleven.
