With that point, they are in 17th position with 10 points in 12 games and it is obvious that they will fight to avoid relegation this season.

Ath.Bilbao got a win in their last match after a big fight against Villareal and that ended their streak of 4 games without a win. Now they are in decent 6th place and they will look at this game as a good opportunity to advance further. Valverde is a really good coach and Bilbao is playing well since the beginning of the season. They are a strong home side but even away from home they have a single loss to Barcelona, combined with 2 draws and 2 wins.

Girona is struggling this season and they will have issues scoring goals against Bilbao. At home, they are playing better but, still, I believe Bilbao and Ernesto Valverde will find a way to get through this match unbeaten and stay close to the top spots of the table.
