Goals are expected in 'De Koel'

Venlo didn't have many chances to win the midweek game in Feyenoord's home. Their opponent were superior both in quality and experience and so they made a comfortable 4-1, while Venlo didn't actually manage to threat at all during the match. That was their 3rd game without a win, now they are in the 7th place of the table, along with Alkmaar. Defenders Dekker and Janssen as well as midfielder Post won't perform tonight because of their injuries.

We saw an improvement from Groningen, who registered a huge win, in the midweek game against Breda (5-2). The goals they scored 'hide' their defensive problems, however they could have conceded more goals and that's a fact. Attackers Pohl, Breij and Cassierra didn't perform in the previous match, they are also out tonight. 

Venlo target a win to secure their place on the table while the guests seem to have improved their performance and score with ease. The 4 latest games of Venlo had more than 2.5 goals and I expect the same tonight against Groningen whose defensive line is weak. Over 2.5 will be my call.
