Goals are expected in Peristeri

Atromitos preferred a defensive approach in the first leg that took place in Poland and that, hopefully for them, led to a bore draw. Tonight I expect a completely different game, considering that they are playing in front of their own fans, where they won't select a passive approach again. In the previous round, they registered a comfortable qualification over Dunajska Streda (5-3 on aggregate), scoring three times in Peristeri (3-2). Midfielder Kivrakidis will be out once again, due to his muscle injury.

Legia were clearly superior in the first leg but they didn't find the net. That was their third consecutive bore draw, after these against Kuopio for the Europa League and Slask in Ekstraklasa. Their Sunday game for the League was postponed so as to get more ready for tonight's match, proving that they have aspirations in this tournament. Defenders Remy, Obradovic, midfielder Kostorz and attacker Sanogo won't perform again tonight, actually, the last three haven't performed so far in the new season.

I expect a totally different approach from Atromitos tonight. If they don't score a goal, they can't hope for a qualification at the playoffs of the competition, for the first time in their history. Legia were clearly superior in the first leg, but Greek team's goalkeeper Balazs Megyeri was in a brilliant night. They actually deserved to score after 28 final attempts (14 on spot).
