Goals are expected in the second leg

Spartak Moscow made a qualification step with their 3-2 win over Thun in Switzerland. Now they have to avoid a home loss with two or more goals difference to participate at the Europa League playoffs. The Russians didn't make a lot of final attempts neither had the possession of the ball, still, they were more experienced in getting what they wanted. They had already scored two goals before the halftime and even when the home team equalized, they found a way to win. On Sunday, Spartak Moscow registered a 1-3 win in Akhmat Grozny's home in their most recent game for the Russian Premier League. Now they have 8 points after 5 games played. There are no reported missings tonight for the home team.

Thun has no experience in this level and that was more than obvious when they conceded two goals before they even manage to show anything in the pitch. They equalized later in the match, however, Spartak Moscow found their way to the net again. Things became quite difficult for Thun since they need a win with two or more goals difference tonight in Moscow. Furthermore, they registered a 2-0 win in Lucerne's home in their most recent game for the Swiss Super League. They weren't superior in that game, but they were very effective. That was their first win in the League and now their record is 1-2-1 after 4 rounds. Defenders Righetti and Bigler as well as attackers Chihadeh and Munsy won't perform tonight.

Spartak are undoubtedly the favorites here, however, they have shown defensive gaps that Thun could take advantage of and score. Spartak won't take many risks at this game but Thun will take early their risks in their effort to score at least twice. BTTS is my call.
