Goals expected in their opening game

Heracles were quite a competitive side during the whole season, finishing in the 7th place of last season's Eredivisie. However, they didn't manage to secure a Europen spot, as they lost twice in their play-out clash for the Europa League exit to Utrecht, 0-5 on aggregate. Heracles played eleven (!) preparation matches since the 30th of June, in their most recent one they won 4-3 over Bayern Leverkusen. Their squad is not much changed compared with the last season's one, this could prove a competitive advantage against their opponents, at least in the beginning of the new season. 

Heerenveen finished in the 11th place of last season's Eredivisie, it was actually a mediocre season for the 'Super Frisians'. They couldn't compete for a Europa League spot, however, they didn't have at all any relegation troubles. From this season they will keep only some great away performances that surprised many times, however, it was as one of their worst, referring in their home performances. Actually, they won only 4 times out of 17 games played in front of their fans. Heerenveen didn't impress in their preparation games, last week they won 1-0 over Sunderland in their most notable one. Midfielder Kongolo from Manchester City U23 team is their most famous signing.

Heracles deserve to be the favorites here, with the way they played in their pre-season matches, however, we are in the very beginning of the season and I am not prepared to back any side in this one. I am pretty sure that a quite open game will be played tonight in Almelo, over 2.5 goals is my call.
