Graafschap vs Roda Match Preview

Graafschap is ranked at the 10th place with three points after a nice 4-2 win against Den Bosch in the opener but they are also one game short. In the previous season they were the second team after Cambuur heading to direct promotion as they were ranked second before the suspension. I think once again this year they will be a serious contender because the team is almost the same and we saw it against Den Bosch how good they played.

In the last season they had one of the best offensive sides in the league and now judging not just by the four goals scored, but also the chances created, I expect lots of goals in their games.

Roda, on the other side, is ranked at the second spot with six full points after winning the first two games so far. They started with an impressive 0-4 win on the road against Jong Ajax and backed that with a 3-0 win at home against Oss. Quite surprising, if considering how bad Roda was in the last season.

It seems like the changes made to the team have brought some quality finally and this might be a good year to try and get promoted. In the last season attack was where Roda was struggling, but now with seven goals in two games it seems like things have turned.

In conclusion, I think both teams can score at least a goal here. Graafschap is favorite to grab the three points since they are at home and have more quality players so I guess they should score at least a goal. Roda is rolling on a very good momentum right now and I fancy them to continue their goal festival even now, despite being on the road.
