Granada CF - Espanyol Match Preview

I expect a win in this match for Granada. They will play against Espanyol who had a solid season and is in the middle of the table. The away team is far from the top but also from the bottom. Unlike them, Granada is still very close to relegation and the win is their goal in this match.

Granada is playing well in last two months or so. They have won two out of last five matches and only lost once. Two of their wins in May, against Bilbao and Mallorca, were pretty impressive. If they play again like that in this match the win will not come to question. 

Espanyol is without a single win in last five matches, they are not in best form possible. They have lost four matches in a row on the road. I would be surprised if they avoid loss in this match against a better-motivated side like Granada.

Granada has a huge motive to win in this match. They are yet to secure their spot in La Liga next season. Cadiz and Mallorca are very close, and they could still be relegated if they do not win in this match on Sunday. The home side to win is my pick.
