Although M.Icardi was rested, Inter had a huge 5-0 win against Genoa in their most recent game for Serie A. The previous week they've also won 3-0 Lazio in Rome, proving that they can fight along with Juventus for the titte. However, in the previous round for Champions League, Inter suffered a deserved loss (2-0) in Camp Nou, acually they couldn't be competitive at all. That was the only defeat for L.Spalletti's team in the last 10 games in all tournaments. Team's top scorer M.Icardi, who didn't play in the last match for Serie A will be in the starting eleven tonight. R.Nainggolan, who managed to score playing only for 5 minutes on his return, will play again .

Barcelona was close to suffer another loss this season, but with two goals scored in the last minutes they made the the total overturn in Vallecano's home (3-2). Even in this way, they stayed on top in La Liga, while the difference with the other teams right behind them widened to 4 points. If Inter win tonight, they will most probably qualify for the last '16' of the tournament, however a draw wouldn't be a devastating result for L.Spalletti's team. On the other hand, Barcelona need just a point to secure their qualification.
