Hosts have the advantage

Guanghzou Evergrande registered a 1-0 win over Daegu to qualify in the next stage of the Asian Champions League. They finished on the 2nd place of the group (3W-1D-2L) having one point less than placed Hiroshima. Their performance is quite effective at home where they got most of their points. In the Chinese Super League, Fabio Cannavaro's team are coming from an important 0-2 win on the road over Shanghai. Brazilian Paulinho was the scorer. They sit on the 2nd place, having 31 points, just 5 points away from the top. Anderson Talisca,  Gao Lin, Huang Bowen and Ruibao Hu won't perform tonight due to their injuries.

Shandong Luneng registered 3 wins, 2 draws and a loss (2-1 in Kashima's home) and finished on the first place of the 5th group. That loss didn't affect their place on the table, since they qualified along with Japanese and they eliminated both Gyeongnam and Johor. In their domestic League, they sit on the 4th place of the table, having 22 points, they are actually far away from the top. In their most recent game, they played a 1-1 draw in Chongqing Lifan's home. The big stars of the team are Graziano Pelle and Marouane Fellaini.

Guanghzou Evergrande are based on their home where they usually collect the most of their points. Now they must take advantage of it in the knock out games of the competition and get the qualifying score. Shandong Luneng aren't trustworthy away from home. I will opt fot the home win.
