How far can they get?

Russia's performance wasn't impressive at all, but they qualified as second after Uruguay. They won 5-0 South Arabia in the opening game and 3-1 Egypt but they were defeated 3-0 from Uruguay. At last '16', everyone thought of their elimination, as Spain were their opponent, everyone but their players who kept Spanish away from their goal and drew 1-1 in regular time. But things didn't change in extra time, and finally Russians got lucky in penalties shoot out and won 4-3.

Croatians are undefeated so far in the tournament, very organised and determined. Their wins against Nigeria (2-0), Argentina (3-0) and Iceland (2-1) boosted their moral, but at last '16' knock out game they didn't have a good performance against Denmark's physical team. The two goals at 1' from Joergensen and at 4' from Mandzukic formed the final score. Croatia's player Modric lost a penalty and, he could have sealed the qualification just before the end of extra time. They finally qualified at penalties shot out (3-2). Croatia have qualified and talented players, most of them play in Europe's top teams. Modric, Rakitic, Mandzukic and Perisic are some of their super stars. The question is how far can this team go. 

Russia surprised as all in the game against Spain and as the hosts everyone is on their side, however Croatia are a strong and organized team with many good players. I believe that Croatians will win one way or another.
