Inter - Juventus Match Preview

Inter is going to host Juventus in this traditional Derby d'Italia in Serie A.

Inter is having an interesting season. They are through to the semifinal in the Coppa Italia, having already won the the Super Cup. They are also in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League which is something that they had failed to do in the last few seasons. In Serie A they are in second place behind Napoli. It is a successful season for them but still, there are a lot of complaints from their fans. In their last UEFA Champions League match, they have been lucky as Porto had a lot of chances to qualify. Recently, they are in a small crisis having 2 losses, 1 draw, and a single win in the last four matches.

Juventus also had a midweek game and they went through in the UEFA Europe League winning against Freiburg in their second match again, which was their third consecutive win. Juventus have a huge deficit in Serie A because of the 15-point deduction so their main focus should be winning the UEFA Europa League which will give them a Champions League spot for the next season.

Juventus lost only one match in the last 11 matches, against Roma. They are playing pretty well lately and got their main players back,  Pogba, Vlahovic, Di Maria, and Rabiot are now available. Inter had really tough match against Porto in Portugal and that can be a big issue for them in this one. Juventus won in the first match this season against Inter.
