Ionikos vs Panachaiki Match Preview

Ionikos faces Panachaiki for the 17th round of the Greek Super League 2.

Another successful result for the hosts in the previous round, who are coming from a 1-2 win over OFI. This was their 3rd consecutive win and currently, they are in the 1st spot of the standings, being the number one favorite to get promoted in the top league of Greek football.

I think they are the best team in the league, as they have both quality and experienced players on their roster. Dimitris Spanos will prepare his best eleven today without any missings. Vaggelis Platellas, Kyrgias, Tsirigiotis, and B. Kone recovered from their injuries and will be all available for this match.

After the away draw against AE Karaiskakis, Panachaiki prevailed 1-0 over Apollon Larisa. Worth mentioning is that they were playing with a man less in the pitch for more than 70 minutes as Bruce was red-carded early in the first half. This victory led them to the 6th spot in the standings. 

Christos Aravidis will miss tonight's game due to injury, as well as Bruce who was sent off in the previous round.
