Ipswich vs Tranmere Match Preview

It isn't surprising at all, since they are the favorites for the promotion to Championship, having the largest budget of the 23 teams in League 1, an excellent coach, Paul Lambert, and the most quality roster in League 1. In their most recent game, they registered a narrow home win over Gillingham (1-0).

Tranmere had a disappointing start, so they deservedly sit at the last places of the table. Last Saturday they registered their second win (2-1 over Burton Albion), however, they have a 2-3-4 record after 9 games played, without winning any of their four games on the road (0-1-3). In addition, they scored only a goal in these matches, while they have conceded 8.

It's more than obvious who is the favorite in this game, definitely the hosts, Ipswich. Although they registered two wins and two draws in front of their fans, not an outstanding performance actually, I expect them to beat a team of the bottom of the table in front of their 30.000 fans. Ipswich to win is my call.
