It's a 'final' for Iraklis

Iraklis registered a 1-3 win over Apollon Pontou on the road, played a bore draw with Kisamikos in their home and another draw, 1-1 with Ergotelis in Crete. However, the team have many problems, mostly in their financials. They are sitting now on the 11th place of the Football league table, having 36 points and due to the upcoming restructuring, if they don't win tonight, they will be relegated to the lower division, as the11th place will not give an entry in the new 2nd division of the Greek football. There are two games remaining, one vs Volos in their home and one vs Platanias in Crete. Vitlis won't perform tonight due to yellow cards suspension, while Koukolis, Kanzaferis and the 36yo Cleyton are injured.

On the other hand, Trikala completed three consecutive games without a single win. They won 1-0 over Kerkika at home at the end of March, but since then they suffered a 2-1 loss to Aigniakos, they drew 0-0 with Panachaiki at home and in the previous round they suffered a 3-1 loss to Apollon Larisa in Filipoupoli. After these results, head coach Milos Kostic was sacked. Dimitris Sitsas is their caretaker manager who will be on the bench tonight, but it is rumored that the experienced George Vazakas is going to be their new coach. The upcoming restructuring of the lower divisions of the Greek football was harmful to Trikala, as it leads them to the 3rd division.

Iraklis have to get the three-pointer to keep their hopes for the future. Trikala can't save themselves though. I believe that the home team will make it one way or another. My call is Iraklis to win, the odds are decent at 1.83.
